Bio / Artist Statement
Harlan is a Travel Photographer based in Boston, who embraces Digital Technology to share his artistic perspective.
The digital revolution has created a unique opportunity to participate in and learn from an unprecedented community of artists, who have never been more connected. This moment in time is truly unparalleled.
Harlan attended the University of Connecticut at Storrs, where he studied Accountancy. He worked in industry for seven years before returning to Academia. In 2012, Harlan enrolled in Boston University's MBA program, where he studied Operations & Technology. It was while attending Grad school that Harlan began to understand the gravity of photography.
Catching the Mist emerged from an early morning experience while Harlan was photographing Old Orchard Beach (OOB). Harlan embraces photography because it is a language that allows him to be present in the moment and intentional with his actions.
