Read MoreI was on an early morning walk in the park and noticed the light reflecting on the water. The morning mist was lingering on the surface so I took a few shots. I walked into the water a little bit and setup the camera / tripod. My goal was to focus on the interplay between the light and the mist. For settings, I used a deep depth of field in an attempt to capture detail in the frame so the viewer could place the scene. I didn't want the foreground to be too blurry. The timing of this shot was bang bang because the light was shifting and the mist was burning off. There's nothing like photography to remind you that you're on the clock. tick. tock.
