This photo was taken at the Marina in Winthrop. It was afternoon and the sun had not yet begun to set. I liked the parallel vertical lines and the reflections on the water.
This picture was taken during autumn at the Blue Hill Reserve. I liked how you can see the trees in detail. Blue Hill Reserve is about a half hour drive from Boston.
This photo was taken after a record setting snow storm in Boston. In some locations, the snow went up to your knee. The snow was unbelievable. The zig zagging fencing is setup as a bird sanctuary to support the local wild life that nests on the beach. Hopefully the birds flew south to avoid the winter. We observed this beautiful sunset after the snow storm moved on.

This photo was taken of the sidewalk in Kenmore Square. I was walking to school at BU and stopped to take this picture along the way. There was so much snow they just stacked it high as it could go!
A View of Boston From the Boston Harbor
This photograph was taken on a beach near the Boston Harbor. The view is looking West into the city of Boston from Winthrop. You can see the colorful city lights reflecting in the Boston Harbor along with boats and buoys.
We were at a 4th of July fire works show near Boston Harbor. I setup the tripod on the beach. I was trying to capture the colors and reflections as the fireworks exploded.
This picture was taken from a beach near Boston Harbor. It was a warm and cloudy summer night. The tripod was partially in the water at times as the tide began to come in. I noticed this fact as my shoe began to take on water.

This photo was taken on a reservoir in western Massachusetts. The opportunity to access this location was provided by a very kind man named Peter, who offered his rowboat to me. I stopped the car after driving by the reservoir, and began a conversation with Peter who owned a beautiful home right on the water. Peter is an awesome guy who shared shared a passion for the fall as well as many interesting stories about his travels to Micronesia as a younger man.
